Samsung Galaxy S5 miniSamsung was supposed to be preparing a 4.5-inch Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, but the latest leaks suggest that the company has changed the name of the product to Samsung Galaxy S5 Dx. All we know about the phone today is that it will offer a smaller display and weaker hardware compared to the S5, but this seems to be the only information we know about the product today. Despite our sources and foreign media sources revealing the specific specifications of the product, Samsung has shuffled the cards these days and raised uncertainty about the authenticity of the information.

Samsung Galaxy The S5 Dx carries the model designation SM-G800, so it is quite understandable that the product is searched for on the Internet under this code. It is even mentioned in the Samsung database, where we also find surprising information that the phone has a processor with a frequency of 2.3 GHz. This frequency indicates that Samsung wants to use the same processor as in the classic Galaxy S5 – Snapdragon 801.

Well, yesterday's benchmark for a change revealed that the phone offers a 4.8-inch display and the Snapdragon 400 processor that sources were talking about. The mystery in this case remains precisely the display, which will probably be larger than it should have been. On the other hand, it should be taken into account that the software is not able to accurately measure the diagonal of the display, which we were convinced of before the release Galaxy S5, when benchmarks showed a 5.2-inch display instead of a 5.1-inch one. The rest of the data is the same for both devices, 1.5 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and 16 GB of storage are mentioned. The leaks suggest that the phone will be waterproof and will not include a heart rate sensor.
