At a time when most mobile manufacturers switched to smartphones, Samsung did not abandon the classics, which is why its portfolio still contains a few push-button phones. An example of such a phone can be the S5610 model, which can attract attention with its modern appearance. The S5610, like several other devices, offers a predictive text feature. Unfortunately, Samsung named the function differently than other manufacturers, and instead of the classic T9 designation, you can find it under the name "Predictive text". But where can you find it? Hint: Make sure you don't turn it off in system settings.

If this feature bothers you and you want to turn it off, you need to create a new administration. You can do this either at the top of the screen or in the application menu, where you select the Messages application. Then you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Open the offer Elections
  2. Navigate below to open the menu Writing options
  3. Click on the option Turn off predictive text

Whenever you see fit to turn this feature on, simply open the menu and click the button Turn on predictive text. Of course, the instructions also work with other push-button phones from Samsung, but there are not as many of them as smartphones today.
