Samsung only releases these days Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to selected devices, but today it is preparing a list of devices on which it could potentially appear Android 4.4 KitKat. Unlike Android 4.3, which is only available for newer and more powerful devices, several low-cost devices appear in the list for KitKat. This interest is mainly due to the fact that pri Android 4.4 Google wants to focus on improving system optimization.

Among other things, the minimum required memory size also depends on this, and Andrioid 4.4 will already run on devices with 512MB of RAM. This is also the reason why many users started hoping that the manufacturers will bring them a new update. Among these manufacturers is Samsung, which was confirmed by a photo of an internal document circulating inside the company. The author of the document mentions that the list of devices is quite long, but at the beginning he draws attention to the presence of weaker devices. These can already be seen in the picture below, and as it turns out, Samsung does not forget about the devices as they are Galaxy Ace 2 or Galaxy S3 mini.

However, whether the updates will actually appear is still questionable, as this is an internal document and according to the information, it seems that Samsung is only preparing to develop updates for these devices. One of the devices he gets Android 4.4 with a high probability, is Galaxy The S4 Mini, which only came out this year. It should also be taken into account that Samsung will upload its TouchWiz environment to these devices as well, but for older devices it can create a lighter version of it that would require less RAM than now.
