Even Samsung may not always be honest, and Richard Wygand from Canada could see for himself. One of Richard's friends actually witnessed how his Samsung Galaxy S4 flashed while charging. Of course, the phone got into the hands of Wygand, who did not hesitate and made a video in which he presents the burned-out smartphone and then published it on YouTube. However, Samsung does not like this very much, and when the owner of the damaged device decided to request a replacement device, Samsung sent him an email with a binding agreement that borders on blackmail.

The agreement states, among other things, that the company will be willing to supply him with a new piece Galaxy S4 only on the condition that Wygand download the video from the Internet and that the whole incident be kept quiet. The non-disclosure agreement requires the owner of the phone not to mention anywhere and never that the device flashed and also not to mention anywhere that this collusion took place. It also asks him to refrain from any future legal action against Samsung in relation to this case. However, no agreement was reached, as it fell into the hands of Wygand, who did not hesitate and published it on the Internet, as well as gave an interview to the neowin.net server. At the same time, it is necessary to point out that this letter was sent to him by the Canadian division of Samsung, so similar behavior may not be shown by other divisions.
