Samsung is not lucky at home either. After numerous court proceedings that took place between Apple and Samsung in the US, a court in South Korea ruled in favor of Apple and rejected Samsung's proposal that the Apple stopped selling old models iPhone and iPad and paid a fine of almost €70. Samsung blamed it Apple from the fact that these devices infringe on the trio of patents it owns.

This is a very surprising reaction from the court, as it refused to come out in favor of the domestic company and rejected its proposal. Apple of course, he takes this news positively, which Apple spokesman Steve Park also commented on: "We are glad that the Korean court has joined others in defending true innovation and rejected Samsung's absurd claims." However, Samsung intends to continue to defend itself and is considering appealing the court verdict: “Because Apple continues to infringe our patented mobile technologies, we will continue to take the necessary measures to protect our intellectual property.”

This is another in a series of lawsuits that have been going on between the two companies since 2011. Apple that year, he accused Samsung of knowingly copying its appearance and features iPhone and iPad tablets. Earlier, this court ordered Apple to pay a fine of 40 million won (€27) to Samsung and also asked Samsung to pay a fine of 600 million won (€25) to Apple. At the time, Samsung was infringing on a patent for the "bounce-back" function, i.e. for bouncing documents back to the phone screen if the user reached the end of the document.
