Samsung announced a new successor today Galaxy Core, which she decided to name as Galaxy Core Advance. Called GT-I8580, the phone will be available early next year in Deep Blue and Pearl White colors, according to official information, while the phone will offer a newer design combined with a soft back cover and physical buttons under the screen. It also has dedicated buttons for the camera and voice recorder.

However, physical buttons have their justification here. The company claims that Galaxy Core Advance is adapted for disabled users or users who have a vision problem. That is why the phone offers several software functions that are aimed at this category of users. In this case, the key functions are Optical Scan, quick access to the voice recorder, Screen Curtain, voice-controlled camera and high-quality Text-to-Speech functions. The Optical Scan feature automatically reads text on images, while the Screen Curtain feature allows users to operate the device with a darkened screen for privacy and battery saving. The voice-activated camera works by telling users the number of detected faces and their distance from the camera.

In terms of hardware, it can be said that it is a lower middle class, as the device offers a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera at the back and a VGA camera at the front. It also comes with 8GB of internal memory, a 2 mAh battery and a micro-SD slot. It supports cards up to 000 GB in size. However, this device is not the smallest either, and therefore offers a 64-inch display with a resolution of 4,7 × 800 pixels. The device uses Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
