In advance of the January/January CES 2014, Samsung presented one of the many products it plans to present on its blog. This is not a smartphone or a tablet, but the first curved UHD TV in the world, which is also confirmed by its characteristic name - Curved UHD TV.

Similar to what the company has claimed in the past, movie fans should like this bent TV. The TV offers a resolution of 5120 x 2160 pixels at a diagonal of 105″. As these numbers already suggest, the TV has an aspect ratio of 21:9, i.e. the ratio of a regular cinema screen. However, the high resolution will not affect the picture quality when watching things in lower quality, as this UHD TV has the Quadmatic Picture Engine function. This will ensure that all videos and all images will be of UHD quality, regardless of whether you have decided to watch the movie in 720p or another resolution. There is also a new algorithm for image quality processing, which brings optimized colors and better color depth. We will have to wait a few more weeks for the price, availability and other specifications, as the company intends to present its 105″ Curved UHD TV only at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. The fair lasts from January 7 to 10.
