Skype 6.11 lagThese days, Microsoft has released a new version of Skype in version 6.11.0.102. Unfortunately, in addition to this version bringing some expected changes, the new Skype brings with it a big problem for users who use the desktop version of the program for the system Windows. The program was most likely not properly tuned, and while the previous version of Skype worked very quickly, the new version has problems with slow loading of conversations, as well as sending and receiving messages.

This wouldn't be such a big problem if the delay was less than a second. However, in the case of the new version of the program, it takes about 6 seconds to load individual conversations, and then another 22 seconds to send the message. The reception of messages is also problematic, where the reception of the message can be delayed by up to a minute and a half.Skype 6.11 was tested on a computer with an AMD A6 1,6 GHz configuration (4 cores) and 4GB RAM. In connection with the processor, there are also claims on Internet forums that the new Skype has a problem with a significant load on the processor. We can also confirm this statement, since in my case Skype uses approximately 36% of the entire processor power. Microsoft has yet to comment on this issue, but we expect the company to release an update in the coming weeks that will improve the functionality of the new Skype. So if Skype happens to notify you that an update is available these days, we recommend that you avoid it.
