As we heard before Christmas, Samsung is preparing a tablet Galaxy Note Pro with a 12,2-inch display. For a change, an unnamed employee confirmed that this is probably true information and that Samsung is already presenting the first prototypes today. The company was supposed to present the tablet to its employees at a private event, and as usual, it is forbidden to take photos of the prototypes. However, a Samsung employee circumvented this regulation and the first photo and hardware specifications of the Note Pro made it to the Internet.

In the photo, we can only see the side and back of the device, which look very similar to the Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). However, they are distinguished by larger speakers, which are slightly longer and located lower. With the exception of a larger display, we can expect a device that matches the smaller model in terms of design. However, inside it hides a processor with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, 3 GB of RAM and a large battery with a capacity of 9 mAh. This is the largest battery that Samsung has ever put into its tablet. The tablet is supplied with the system Android 4.4 KitKat, which we will enjoy on a 12.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.

The 12,2-inch Note Pro will be primarily intended for work, as evidenced by its large dimensions. According to the information, we can expect a device with dimensions of 29,5 x 20,3 cm. The thickness of the device is not yet known, but its weight is approximately 780 grams. Galaxy The Note Pro will probably be presented in a few days at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas, which we will of course let you know about. The company should also introduce its cheapest tablet, Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, about which we already know practically all the important specifications. However, you can read more about it in the article Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Received WiFi Certification and Specs Revealed!
