Samsung started its conference by presenting its vision of the house of the future – the Samsung Smart Home. The smart home traditionally consists of smart appliances, which in the case of Samsung is really not a vision of the distant future. Samsung already produces a lot of smart devices and with them other appliances, including televisions, refrigerators, washing machines and many others.
The basic building block of this household is of course displays. It does not matter at all whether it will be flexible or classic displays. In addition to displays, the electronics would also offer voice control and, of course, connection to the key element. That element is the smartphone - a smart phone, which today represents a very general device that can be used to control televisions, watches and speakers. In the future, all you need to do is use a smart watch as a watch Galaxy Gear. Just say you're going out and the air conditioning and lights in the home will turn off by themselves. Just say you want to watch a movie and the lamps in your living room will turn off and the sound technology will adapt to the conditions. The vision of an intelligent home is within reach for CES 2014 participants, literally – Samsung is presenting it directly at the exhibition.
