At today's conference, Samsung presented a new addition to the Note family, which it named as Galaxy NotePRO. The word PRO in this case represents the focus of the product on professional users who intend to use their tablets productively. That is why the tablet can boast a 12,2-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The product specs remained the same as the teams leaked online, but this time we get details on the environment.

Galaxy NotePRO will be available in two versions, which differ in their hardware. The first version only supports WiFi networks, while the latter contains an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor with a frequency of 1,9 GHz for four cores and 1,3 GHz for the other four cores. The second variant, with LTE network support, will instead offer a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with a frequency of 2,3 GHz. The operating memory is 3 GB. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device will be available in two capacity versions, namely 32 and 64 GB. It goes without saying that you can expand the storage using a micro-SD memory card. The battery with a capacity of 9 mAh offers more than 500 hours of endurance on a single charge. Traditionally, the S Pen stylus is present, just like the other devices in the series Galaxy Notes.

The device also contains an operating system Android 4.4 KitKat, which will be the first tablet with this operating system on the market. Android is enriched with the new MagazineUX software extension, which represents a completely new environment for PRO tablets. The environment really resembles a kind of magazine, while its elements can resemble it Windows Metro. New in this environment is the ability to open up to four applications on the screen, for which it is enough to simply drag them onto the screen from the menu that can be pushed out from the right side of the screen. The tablet is designed for productivity, which is confirmed by the new E-Meeting function. This allows you to connect the tablet to up to 20 others, which makes it possible to share and collaborate on documents. The Remote PC function is also present. The tablet is really thin, measuring only 7,95 millimeters and weighing 750 grams.

Innovation also comes in the case of downloading. WiFi supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO support, i.e. with the ability to download twice as fast. Also present is Network Booster, a technology that allows you to combine your mobile connection with a WiFi network. New Brand Book covers designed by Nicholas Kirkwood or Moschino will also be available for the tablets.
