All of Samsung's new branded tablets Galaxy TabPRO boasts a high-resolution display (2560×1600), but the 10.1″ version Galaxy The TabPRO is not as sharp as its 8.4" and 12.2" counterparts, because Samsung chose to equip this tablet with a PenTile RGBW LCD display instead of the standard RGB pixel arrangement. While RGBW provides higher brightness due to the additional white subpixel, it reduces the number of red, green, and blue subpixels, reducing sharpness.

Of course, on a 10.1″ display with a resolution of 2560×1600, the PenTile effect will probably not even be recognizable, even though I will be using the tablet every day. But for those who have nothing else to do but examine the tablet's display pixel by pixel, this fact will certainly be disappointing, but perhaps it will be balanced by another fact, namely that the image quality is at a very high level.
