Samsung cares about the safety of drivers on the road and therefore joined the Eyes on the Road campaign, which aims to get drivers to pay attention to driving and not to their smartphone. The initiative comes after a survey in Singapore found that up to 80% of drivers there use their mobile phone while driving, even though this activity is strictly prohibited. The use of mobile phones while driving, especially texting, is one of the main causes of traffic accidents.

The application, created in collaboration with Samsung, uses motion sensors in devices to detect speeds above 20 km/h. If the user exceeds this speed, the application itself blocks all calls and SMS, as well as silences notifications from social networks. But the activity of the application is not one-sided and, if necessary, it will itself send a message that the user is currently driving. The application is deactivated automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity or after manual shutdown. The application is available for free in Google Play Store.
