Already after the revelation Galaxy The S4 saw the first speculations that Samsung would bring a new Iris Eye Scanning technology as a form of security. However, the Iris technology is not yet sufficiently ready, so we will see it first in Galaxy Note 4, or v Galaxy S6. Instead, we should expect a fingerprint sensor that would record fingerprints all over the display.

This information was revealed to The Korea Herald by an unnamed source, who himself stated that the Iris technology today is not developed as Samsung would imagine. Nowadays, it is necessary to put the phone close to the eyes, which is not very convenient if you are at the cinema or driving. The technology will also apparently require an additional camera, which would make the phone three different cameras and make the device more rugged. In addition, it would be necessary to create a phone with a completely different design than before. It is therefore far more likely that a phone with Iris technology will appear next year or even two years from now.
