It's not very often that manufacturers introduce push-button phones these days, but Samsung still has this market in mind. Browsing the official site, we noticed that Samsung has quietly added a new S5611 phone to its lineup, which is a kind of hardware upgrade of the older S5610. Since this is more of a hardware upgrade, Samsung has removed the S5610 phone from its site. Both phones are very similar from the outside, while the S5611 is available in three color versions – metallic silver, dark blue and gold.

The fundamental change compared to the previous model concerns the built-in memory and processor. The new phone should offer a single-core processor with a frequency of 460 MHz and 256MB of memory, while the S5610 offered only 108MB of storage. According to the information, it also looks like Samsung has dropped WAP 2.0 support, but it richly compensates with 3G Internet support. With 3G, the battery lasts 300 minutes of use on a single charge, while its predecessor lasted 310 minutes on a single charge. It is not known when the phone will go on sale, but online stores have already started accepting pre-orders for this phone with a price of €70.
