Samsung has taken a bold step into a new era of TV entertainment by connecting an innovative curved design with UHD TV technology. These TVs provide an almost theatrical experience and fundamentally change the way the world has viewed TVs. The curved screen lends the video realistic properties that cannot be achieved on flat screens. In addition, the wider field of view creates a panoramic effect that makes the screen appear even larger than it is. The curved design creates a balanced and unified viewing distance for a more realistic viewing experience with better viewing angles and higher contrast from different positions.

UHD TVs provide unrivaled image quality with four times the resolution and more pixels than Full HD. Thanks to technology Upcaling, which is part of all Samsung UHD TVs, viewers get the best picture regardless of the characteristics of the source. This patented technology converts Full HD, HD and lower resolution sources to UHD quality through a unique four-stage process. This consists of signal analysis, noise reduction, detail analysis and upscaling (pixel count conversion). UHD technology Dimming helps further optimize image quality by processing each image block. The result is deeper blacks and better contrast.

Samsung UHD TVs not only support today's standard formats including HEVC, HDMI 2.0, MHL 3.0 and 2.2 HDCP, but are also the only TVs on the market that are future-proof thanks to Samsung UHD Evolution Kit. The One Connect Box essentially keeps the brains of the TV external, allowing customers to equip the TV with the latest version of the Samsung UHD Evolution Kit to be compatible with the latest UHD format and still have access to the latest Samsung technology. All this helps customers protect their investment for many years to come.
