We are all very familiar with the situation when our wonderful device accidentally ended up in the water and we tried helplessly to resuscitate our beauty. Now Samsung wants to come up with a solution to this problem, even according to some rumors, this unpleasant matter is already solved on one of the versions of the expected Galaxy S5. The solution is to come with the IMA (in-mold antenna), which Samsung ordered instead of the original LDS, which do not provide waterproofing. The problem, however, is that IMAs are larger than thin LDSs, yet Daesan Electronics reportedly produced much thinner IMAs than the original ones.

We will probably meet this gadget in the model Galaxy S5 Active, similar to its predecessor Galaxy The S4 Active, which used normal IMA without scaling, and thus was a bit larger than the classic one Galaxy S4. It can also be assumed that the upcoming high-end devices should also come with waterproofing.
