Microsoft is the only mobile OS manufacturer to realize that parents often lend phones to their children. In addition to the standard interface, there is also a Kids Corner mode, in which children have their own home screen with their own applications. And that's exactly what Samsung would like to incorporate into its new phone. From what we hear, Samsung should Galaxy S to offer the so-called Kids Mode, which will work on a very similar principle.

In a way, the Kids Mode will work on a similar principle as the Children's Corner on Windows Phone and multi-user support on tablets with Androidoh The main guide should be the fairy-tale crocodile Kroko, who will help in creating a profile. When creating it, you will need to enter a PIN code that will be used to access the Kids Mode settings. In the settings, it will be possible to set which applications the children can access, who they will be able to call and even here it will be possible to set how long the children can play games on the tablets.

Samsung wants to put a lot of emphasis on this mode and therefore dedicates a practically completely new environment to it. Instead of the traditional notification bar, there will be a so-called "Kids Quick Panel", which will combine elements of the notification bar and settings. It will also be possible to turn off the mode using it, but this will require a PIN code. In addition to this panel, there is a dedicated Kids Store where parents can download various educational apps and games for Kids Mode. There will be both paid and free apps, and purchases will need to be confirmed with a PIN code.

The interface itself will match the rest of the system, so it will be flat. In addition, it is very brightly colored, which should emphasize that this is a mode intended for children. But it will not be the same environment that we could see on Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, as Kids Mode will offer many more functions than the aforementioned children's version of the tablet. Samsung will reveal more information about this mode on February 24 at the MWC in Barcelona, where it will present its new Galaxy S5.
