There is probably nothing special about @evleaks revealing new products even on the weekend. Just this weekend, they revealed promotional photos of the watch on their Twitter Galaxy Gear 2. Along with the release of the photos, they also revealed two things to us. Not only is Samsung preparing two different versions of the Gear 2, but this leak also refuted rumors that Galaxy The Gear 2 will have a bent or flexible display.

Instead, we will encounter a classic flat AMOLED display, as we could already see with the first generation of Gear watches. There should be two versions immediately available, which will most likely differ in their names as well. Alongside the metal version of the watch, Samsung will also present a cheaper, plastic version with a lower quality camera. This change will ensure that the watch will actually be cheaper, and on the one hand they will harmonize with the new flagship. Samsung will present tomorrow plastic Galaxy S5 and metallic Galaxy S5 Prime with fingerprint sensors. We therefore think that Samsung will release two versions of the watch for this very reason.

But the internet media have a different explanation. According to them, it will simply be a cheaper version that will have nothing to do with the two Galaxy with S5s. According to them, the name will also adapt to this, and while the metal model will bear the name Galaxy Gear 2, the plastic model will be called Galaxy Gear 2 Neo. Today is still quite early to confirm anything, so we will wait for tomorrow's event, where Samsung will reveal the truth.
