After introducing Samsung's new flagship by name Galaxy S5 and the Gear 2 watch, Samsung also resorted to the presentation of the intelligent fitness bracelet Gear Fit, the first wearable device with its own flexible 1.84″ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 432×128 in the world. Thanks to the display, the wristband can also be used as a watch, but the primary use is a pedometer, heart rate monitor, sleep duration measurement, timer including stopwatch, but also in controlling calls or messages on your phone.
Since it is a bracelet aimed at sports use, Samsung has equipped it with waterproofing and protection against dust and sand at the IP67 level, so it will be possible to dive with it to a depth of one meter, but above all it will be possible to run with it in the rain. Its dimensions are really small, the parameters are specifically 23.4×57.4×11.95 mm with a weight of only 27 grams.
It will be available in three colors, namely black, gray and orange, and the band will be removable, so if you don't like the color you bought, you can arrange an exchange with your friends. We will find it in stores, just like the other introduced devices, from April 11, but no price has been announced yet.
