Yesterday, Samsung introduced its first fitness bracelet and called it Gear Fit. It is also the first wearable fitness accessory in the world that contains a curved Super AMOLED display. Due to the features and dimensions found in this accessory, questions began to appear about what kind of battery we will find in the new Gear Fit and, of course, how long it will last on a single charge. This is precisely something that Samsung did not mention at its conference, so we had to wait until the official press information.

It is mentioned in them that the Samsung Gear Fit contains a standard battery with a capacity of 210 mAh. Even though its capacity is lower compared to the Gear 2 watch, Samsung promises a 3- to 4-day endurance of the new fitness bracelet with normal use and 5 days with light use. That battery has to power the 1.84-inch display with a resolution of 432 x 128 pixels and the many sensors found in the Gear Fit. However, the advantage is that Samsung also used technologies that try to save the battery as much as possible - Bluetooth 4.0 LE is one of them. The watch can withstand sweat without any problems, as it has an IP67 waterproof and dustproof certificate.
