The renowned server @evleaks has published a photo and specifications of another device from Samsung. This time it is a new Samsung Chromebook 2 with Google Chrome OS. According to his leak, the new Chromebook will retain its principles, and thus users will store the vast majority of data on the Google Drive cloud storage. However, what has changed compared to the past is that Samsung is starting to apply its new design language to laptops as well. Chromebook 2 will offer a body with a leatherette.
For now, it's just a Chromebook, but if this design catches on, then we can expect it on other laptops and computers that the company will make. Moreover, at the end of last year it was already speculated that Samsung would introduce a new Ativ Book 9 "Style" with a leather cover. Speculation was also strengthened by a leaked photo showing a laptop in white. The leak from @evleaks presents the laptop in black. And what hardware can we expect? The 11.6-inch version will offer an Exynos 5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD, while the 13.3-inch version will offer similar hardware with an Intel processor. The base model will cost $299.
