The creators of the flexible Fleksy keyboard for touchscreens have announced a new version of their Fleksy SMS keyboard. This version will be an exclusive part of the new Samsung Gear 2 watch. In addition to the predictive keyboard being available in the operating system itself so that people can reply to SMS messages, the company has also released an SDK for application developers. The Gear 2 watch will offer a store with Samsung Apps applications, where there will be free and paid applications for the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo watches.
The keyboard will work on the same principle as on mobile devices. However, it differs in adapting to a smaller screen, as the Gear 2 watch only offers a 1.63-inch display. Fleksy has declared that its keyboard is perfectly optimized for this kind of device and typing should not cause any problems.
