Samsung has received a patent for design of a new tablet with curved corners. It can be a derivative Galaxy Tab and at the same time the first proof that the company is really preparing this type of device. Information about tablets with a curved display appeared a few months ago, but at that time it was not known whether tablets with a curved display or a flexible one were in the pipeline. However, now we can see the design of the practically final product, which can appear on the market at almost any time.
It is also necessary to note that the company applied for the approval of this design already on 20.6.2012, that is, almost two years ago. We expect that if Samsung introduces a tablet with such a display, then it will introduce it at the end of the year along with Galaxy Note 4. However, it is also possible that the company will present it side by side Galaxy Tab4, since Samsung announced that the Gear Fit will be compatible with 20 devices, it has only revealed 19 of them in its documents so far.
