We recently published informace regarding the second generation of the S Band fitness bracelet that appeared in the leaked manual of the Galaxy S5. This particular bracelet was just introduced without much fanfare at one of Samsung's events in neighboring Germany, where it was named the Samsung Activity Tracker, which surprised a lot of people, since the device was originally and for a very long time known as the Samsung S Band. Stereopoly managed to shoot a hands-on video with the Activity Tracker, revealing its official price of €79.90, which will compete with devices like the Jawbone UP, Nike FuelBand or Fitbit.

Its functions include measuring the route traveled, calories consumed, notifying the user of messages and calls on the paired smartphone, but also sleep monitoring, which includes, in addition to measuring its length, the detection of deep and light sleep or the number of awakenings. The Activity Tracker pairs with a smartphone using the included Bluetooth 4.0, and since it's a device without a display, it will be controlled using a special S Health app that will debut alongside Samsung Galaxy S5 already on April 11.

The bracelet is already available for pre-order on Amazon Germany, but its availability in the Czech/Slovak Republic and other countries is still a question that only Samsung can answer at the moment. The Samsung Activity Tracker is already the second fitness bracelet introduced by the Korean company this year, at the MWC in Barcelona, Samsung presented the new Gear Fit, which will be released together with Galaxy S5 and unlike the Activity Tracker will also offer a display, thanks to which it has become the first wearable device with a flexible 1.84″ Super AMOLED display in the world.
