Samsung has today confirmed the prices of its upcoming Gear 2 and Gear Fit products. Official information released by Samsung for Taiwan reveals that the Gear 2 watch will cost NT$8 and the Gear Fit wristband will cost NT$999. Converted to our menu, this means that the Gear 5 will start selling for around €990, while the Gear Fit will be sold from €2.
It is necessary to add that we recalculated the prices from US dollars at the rate of $1 = €1, as is customary for many companies. In the end, the question remains why Samsung hasn't released the price of the cheaper Gear 2 Neo watch until now. It is quite likely that Samsung wants to boost sales of the full-size model and will only start selling the cheaper one later. The price remains a mystery even today, so we can only speculate. Our editors think that the price of the Gear 2 Neo will be between €229 and €249.

We must not forget the price in the Czech Republic. Samsung did not confirm the price, but considering the facts mentioned above, we could expect the Samsung Gear 2 to start selling for CZK 5 and the Samsung Gear Fit to start selling for around CZK 820. Although we do not know the price of the Gear 3 Neo, we expect a price in the range of CZK 870 to CZK 2 in Czech crowns. We should learn the official prices for the Czech Republic and Europe from Samsung soon. Both products will go on sale on April 4th together with Samsung Galaxy S5.
