CNET has obtained exclusive information about the company's leadership from its sources at Samsung Telecommunications America (STA). In the last two months, 5 high-ranking managers and officials, extremely important for the company, have left this division of Samsung.

The following people left Samsung in the last two months:

  • Seshu Madhavapedda – Senior Vice President of Mobile Devices and Technology
  • Nanda Ramachandran – vice president and general manager for strategy, marketing and product management for Galaxy Tab, Gear and HomeSync
  • Mike Pennington – Vice President of Sales and Head of US Sales
  • Katherine Dunagan – Vice President for Retail stores
  • Donna Cerny – director of human resources

In the past, Ketrina Dunagan was significantly involved in the development of the Samsung Experience stands in the Best Buy retail chain. All of the aforementioned have yet to comment on CNET's management. All of these departures took place shortly after Gregory Lee took over STA. Kevin Packingham said he left the company after the company changed its strategy and began to focus on Galaxy S devices instead of Samsung developing exclusive devices for different carriers. Also leaving the company is Travis Merrill, vice president of marketing for Galaxy Tab. Donna Cerny revealed on her LinkedIn profile that she retired to Apple, where he works in the human resources department.
