Apparently, Samsung is preparing a new version of the Gear watch, which will be able to function completely independently with the help of a SIM module. The company should develop this watch in cooperation with the South Korean operator SK Telecom, which should offer it as an exclusivity in its stores. Although Samsung has not officially confirmed anything yet, the patent office in Korea has already managed to confirm what this product will be called.
According to him, Samsung has applied for a trademark for the Gear Solo product, which we can consider a truly meaningful name. This is because it is a self-sufficient product, as thanks to the USIM card users can make phone calls with them without having to connect them to the phone. The product should initially be available only as an exclusivity for South Korea, but it is not excluded that it will be sold in other countries of the world as well.
