Waterproofing is one of the main innovations of the new Samsung Galaxy S5. It should therefore not be surprising that some immediately began to test it in practice to see for themselves whether the phone with a leatherette on the back cover really resists water. The editors from TechSmartt therefore made a 12-minute video in which they tested the waterproofness of the team by first leaving the phone at a depth of a meter for several minutes and then sending it for a rather wild ride in the washing machine. The phone was there for 50 minutes and quite surprisingly it survived without any signs of damage.
Not only did the phone resist water, but its display remained undamaged. However, the authors admit that after washing the phone's display remained dark for 10 minutes,
