Even the Samsung Gear Fit isn't perfect, and Samsung is therefore starting to fix the problems that early users are complaining about. Probably the biggest and most frequently mentioned problem with the Gear Fit is the layout of the information on the display. The system on the bracelet is adapted to the width, while people wear this bracelet on their hands and thus have to tilt their hands and heads in order to read notifications and statistics. However, that is a thing of the past as of today as Samsung has updated the firmware for this device.

The new firmware thus already allows users to set whether they want to have the layout of the content oriented in height, making the Gear Fit simpler and more natural. The update itself is currently only available to users in South Korea, where the new function appeared on the Gear Fit bracelet in the Samsung Store. However, the release of the update should not be a serious problem, since the device is available in practically only one version for the whole world. Expected release date is April 11, 2014.
