Tatra Banka, Slovakia's oldest private bank, recently announced in its press release about its own application for smart glasses Google Glass, on which it collaborated with the Czech company Inmite. The application is already available for download on the bank's website and is primarily intended for informative purposes, while the user can choose from four available functions, which include ATM localization, branch localization, a call to the contact center and also the launch of a presentation video regarding the latest bank innovation.

Users of the application will be able to locate ATMs and branches just by turning their heads, as these locations are displayed in real places thanks to the augmented reality environment. Individual functions will be controlled using voice commands in English, but it will still be possible to use them via the touchpad on the right side of the glasses. As for the Google Glass product itself and its release, so far only the version for developers is available, and for commercial purposes, smart glasses should appear on the market already in the second half of this year, both for the outside world and for the Czech Republic and Slovakia . Their price is set at USD 1500, i.e. about CZK 30/Euro 000.
