While the introduction of new wearable devices from Samsung at MWC 2014 is accompanied by a lot of gadgets, the Korean company has not yet talked much about the hardware used. The SamMobile portal thus used its internal resources and provided the world with an exclusive informace about the processors powering three new wearable devices, the Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smart watches and the Samsung Gear Fit smart fitness bracelet.

Both variants of the watch are powered in the same way as the last one Galaxy Gear with an Exynos processor, this time specifically a dual-core Exynos 3250 SoC model with a clock speed of 1 GHz. On a completely original watch Galaxy Gear, Samsung decided to reduce CPU performance and disabled one of the two cores in order to increase battery life, but these measures are no longer needed as the operating system was Android replaced by Samsung's own system, i.e. Tizen. The Gear Fit uses an STM4F32 Cortex-M439 chip, which is more of a microcontroller than a full-fledged processor, but it's still enough to run the Tizen OS without any problems.
