Samsung introduces the new S24D390 and S24D590 LED monitors to the Czech market

Prague, April 9, 2014 – Samsung introduces new LED monitors with a 24-inch screen to the Czech market S24D390 a S24D590. Both models are intended for households and will impress at first sight with their unique workmanship. They are the first representatives of the new models for 2014 on the Czech market.

The news is shared by Samsung's technology called PLS  (Plane to Line Switching), which enables vertical and horizontal viewing angle of 178° and provides a clear and detailed image without the slightest color reduction. At the same time, the PLS panel is also energy-saving. The monitor display has Full HD resolution, brightness 250 cd/m² and supports 16,7 million colors. So consumers get great picture quality from even more places, regardless of whether they are sitting low and playing games or watching a video with other people around the monitor.

The S24D390 and S24D590 monitors allow for quick setup game mode – instantly adjusts the colors and contrast of the screen so that the dark points are darker and the bright points are lighter. Also, image lag is less due to faster response. In this way, the monitors ensure an optimal computer game experience. Thanks to the feature Magic Upscale the image on the display is always perfect regardless of the quality of the source. This is because it prevents quality degradation when the resolution is increased and provides vibrant colors and a vibrant image that looks cleaner and sharper than on a laptop.

Therefore, especially in households, it should not only have top-notch functions, but also a sophisticated appearance that does not disturb the character of the household, but at the same time stands out." said Petr Kheil, director of the IT and enterprise Business division of Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak.

S24D390: Elegant Touch of Color design

Regardless of whether the Samsung S24D390 monitor is on or off, it always stands out wherever you place it. Samsung's unique Touch of Color design features a slim bezel, slim transparent stand and square base. Thanks to the thin frame, it allows you to watch more content on the screen, while the soft blue light creates a pleasant glow around the monitor.

The Samsung S24D390 monitor in black design and with a diagonal of 23,6 inches is on sale for a recommended retail price of CZK 4 including VAT. The offer also includes models with a diagonal of 21,5 inches for CZK 3 including VAT and 390 inches for CZK 27 including VAT. From May 6, it will also be available in white.

S24D590: Minimalist design, maximum vision

The Samsung SD590 monitor was designed for consumers who appreciate functionality and elegance. It is made of advanced metal materials and its minimalist design lets the image stand out without anything distracting. Only the most basic elements remain in the form of a linear shape, an extremely narrow frame and a slim T-shaped base that takes up a minimum of space. The clean back of the monitor accentuates its elegant silhouette even more.

The Samsung S24D590 monitor with a diagonal of 23,6 inches is on sale at a suggested retail price of CZK 5 including VAT. A 27-inch model is also available for CZK 8 including VAT.
