Today, Google is opening a contest for tickets to this year's Google I/O developer conference. Google did so following the example of the company Apple, which this year started voting for tickets to its WWDC 2014 conference, where it will introduce a new iOS 8, OS X and probably new computers. Developers have the option of signing up to vote for tickets, with Google selecting a certain number of people who will then be able to purchase tickets for $900, or $300 for student or faculty tickets.

Google I/O 2014 will be held this year from June 25-26. The opportunity to register to vote for tickets lasts until April 18, while those interested can register directly at this link. We do not yet know what Google will present, but there is speculation that Google will present a new version of the system Android, news within Google Play, a new generation of Google Glass and a set-top box Android TV. We will follow the progress of the conference and you will see the news on our website.
