Korean media reported that Samsung sold out of its Gear Fit inventory in the first 10 days. The company had around 200 to 000 units of the bracelet available during the first days, with a significant portion of them available as a bonus with the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S5. So it can be seen that the smart bracelet is gaining in popularity and Samsung will have to increase production, since even now it does not have enough manufactured pieces. The number of produced pieces is mainly due to the bent display.

The media further claims that in Samsung's home country of South Korea alone, 25 units were sold within 000 days of the launch. It can be seen that sales are not as high as for example mobile phones, but this is due to the fact that wearable devices are not an everyday thing like for example phones and tablets. However, this market is expected to grow with the arrival of new devices. According to analysts, the emerging market for wearable devices was worth around 10 million dollars in 2013, and it is speculated that in the next few years it will be a market whose value will exceed 330 billion dollars. At the same time, Samsung is preparing an extensive fleet of Gear devices, which include, among other things, the self-sufficient Samsung Gear 1 Solo and a pair of watches with Android Wear. The production of the Samsung Gear Fit is mainly handled by Samsung Display and Samsung SDI.
