Samsung Galaxy Mega 2Samsung, like many other companies, must have their devices certified before they can sell them. Now the company has received certification for a truly large device labeled SM-T2558 for the Chinese market. Because the phone literally looks enlarged Galaxy S5, we think this is the first photo of the new Samsung Galaxy Mega 2nd generation.

The device itself offers a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, a quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in memory and an 8-megapixel rear camera. On the front of the device there is a camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels. A maxi-phone or tablet with the ability to make calls is larger than last year's generation Galaxy Mega, which offered a 6.3″ display. More recent leaks have also confirmed that Samsung is working on a new generation Galaxy Mega, which will now fall into the family Galaxy S5.

The device itself has so far only been approved by the TENAA organization, which is in charge of certifying mobile devices in China. It was the TENAA documents that in the past said that Samsung was preparing Galaxy Beam 2 and several other interesting products. We don't know when Samsung will launch these devices, but because they are Galaxy S5 priority, then we should expect a new one Galaxy Mega over the next two months. What is special, however, is that the device offers Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. However, this can only confirm that it is a prototype.
