SamsungSamsung has officially admitted that it had problems with its camera Galaxy S5. The claim comes shortly after numerous users Galaxy S5s with Verizon Wireless have started complaining that their phones' cameras don't work. The company said it was aware of the issue and assured users that the issue only affected a very small number of units produced and was primarily related to the first units produced.

According to the official statement, firmware problems in the phone's ROM are to blame. Among other things, the ROM stores information important for working with the camera, and errors in the code caused the ROM module hidden on the phone's motherboard to simply simply not be able to connect to the camera. Of course, Samsung doesn't hesitate to say that it will provide free replacements to affected customers.
