A year ago, Gameloft announced that it was preparing the fifth installment of its Modern Combat series. However, we haven't heard about the game for a long time, and Gameloft has only now decided to officially comment on the title, which is one of the most anticipated "console" games on phones and tablets. The title Modern Combat 5: Blackout will be the next continuation of the FPS series, and according to Gameloft, the game will be released in the next few weeks.
The game is to be released for Android and also for iOS, while the story of the game will be set in the Italian Venice. The main character, Phoenix, is sent to a historic city to protect and transport WMD. Of course, what kind of story would it be if your unit wasn't attacked by terrorists. This is where the story begins, and players can expect a series of compact and dynamic missions that, among other things, will move the story to Tokyo, where total anarchy will break out.
