Thanks to the portal Zauba.com and sources on the Internet, we were able to learn that Samsung is working on a cheaper version Galaxy S5. Samsung Galaxy The S5 Neo, as it is currently known, appears on the Internet under the model designation SM-G750 and will serve as an alternative for those who want to enjoy the best possible user experience from Galaxy S5, but they don't want or can't pay 700€ for this phone. That's why Samsung should Galaxy S5 Neo offer a 5.1-inch display and the vast majority of functions from the original Galaxy S5.

The price and release date of the device are not yet known, but the situation suggests that the cheaper variant of the phone will be released during the summer months and will be available in many parts of the world. According to available information, the phone will have the same processor as Galaxy S5, namely Snapdragon 801 with a frequency of 2.3 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. This is indicated by the data in the Samsung database. The biggest change should touch the display. We've known for some time that Samsung plans to use a display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. But now we learn, that Samsung intends to use a 5.1″ LCD display, which will make the display have a density of 288 ppi and people will be able to see individual pixels on it.

What we can conclude already is that Samsung Galaxy The S5 Neo will have the same or at least a very similar design to the original model. We expect this model to also be waterproof and offer a heart rate sensor. But questions may hang over the fingerprint sensor, which may remain an exclusive feature for the full-fledged model. We should also expect a weaker rear camera. Ultimately, we think so Galaxy The S5 Neo will be slightly thicker than the standard model.
