Compared to last year, Samsung is going to focus on the tablet market in addition to wearable devices this year, which was confirmed by the release of several high-end tablets at the beginning of the year. However, now the Korean company has been hit by a problem in the form of a lower share of the tablet market in Russia. According to MTS research, Samsung sold just 282 tablets in the world's largest country during the first quarter of this year, which is almost 000 percent less than the same time last year.

However, the same troubles also affected the American Apple, whose share of the tablet market in the Russian Federation, like Samsung, has fallen considerably. This is apparently due to the high interest in cheap tablets produced by local or other smaller manufacturers. However, this problem is not only noted in Russia, globally renowned manufacturers are losing customers precisely to the benefit of smaller and at the same time cheaper companies that offer equally or even more powerful tablets for significantly cheaper prices. However, it is necessary to distinguish these manufacturers from various (often Chinese) companies that sell cheap copies of equipment of world brands for a fortune, while their quality, despite good performance, often falters.
