We live in a time when for a regular phone with Androidom we will pay at least €80. Below this level, there are usually only push-button telephones, such as those manufactured by Nokia, for example. But predictions said that soon the production price of chips and hardware for smartphones will drop so low that even the cheapest phones on the market will be smartphones. It seems that the time has come and in a few months we will meet smartphones "for a buck".

ARM announced at the Tech Day conference that if manufacturers wanted to make the cheapest Android smartphone in the world, the phone would only cost $20. At the same time, he expects that in a few months we will actually meet phones that will be sold at such a low price. Of course, you have to take into account the fact that for $20 it will be a smartphone with the cheapest possible hardware, so the phone will only handle its basic functions. Such a device would have to contain a Cortex A5 single-core processor. For an idea, such a processor can be found today in very cheap Smart TVs and in the ZTE U793 phone.
