Thieves have it tough in today's age of advanced technology, but smartphone thieves have it even tougher. The Cerberus application, developed by the LSDroid studio, is able to fully secure up to 5 devices at once, and only for a fee of less than 3 Euros (CZK 75). After downloading it for free from Google Play, it will provide smartphone protection, but the trial version will expire after a week and the user will have to pay 3 Euros for further use. Paying less than 100 CZK for a premium account is worth it, because the application has really revolutionary gadgets.
And a pickpocket from the British county of Essex, who managed to steal a young student's smartphone, also paid for these gadgets. However, the thief had no idea that the student had a security system installed on his smartphone in the form of the Cerberus application and decided to enter the PIN. However, the entered PIN was incorrect, he also unsuccessfully experimented with the security code two more times, and after these three unsuccessful attempts, he was photographed with the smartphone's front camera and the resulting image was sent to the student by email. He did not hesitate and went straight to the British police with his catch, where a search was announced for the thief and he will very likely end up behind the bars of Chelmsford prison soon.
