Samsung vs AppleAlthough a US court found Samsung guilty of infringing two of the company's patents Apple, the South Korean company is not giving up and is appealing instead of paying less than $120 million. The ace up Samsung's sleeve, namely its representative attorney John Quinn, stated in an interview with CNET that Apple he won't get a penny from the trial after the appeal, because according to him, the court will reconsider the verdict and acquit Samsung of guilt. At the same time, he believes that the appeal will reduce or even delete the amount of 930 million dollars that Samsung should have paid to Apple from the previous process.

John Quinn's words may sound unrealistic, but it shows Samsung's determination and unwillingness to pay any amount to American Apple, which could pay off in the end. Next week, the court will discuss the other allegedly infringed patents together with the appeal, but this time on both sides, i.e. those infringed by Samsung, but also infringed Applem, from which Samsung could come out victorious and ultimately profit.
