Samsung has decided to release an update for its new Samsung Galaxy S5, specifically for the international version (SM-G900F) for now, but it should be available for the other models in a few weeks. The update mainly concerns two things, i.e. the Camera application and mainly the problematic fingerprint sensor. The first mentioned aspect was updated mainly due to the disproportionately long start-up time, and the same happened with the Gallery application, so users no longer have to wait unnecessarily for the Camera application or the Gallery application to open. The second updated function was fingerprint scanning, which was often criticized for its inaccuracy, so the owner of the phone had to put his finger to the scanner several times before the phone would even unlock, but that's over now.

In addition to these two updated functions, the performance of the entire device has also been improved, this also applies to better handling of 2 GB of RAM, so the phone should work better even with more running applications. If the update has not yet appeared on your device and the option to search for updates also does not report anything, we recommend waiting, as the update should be available within a few days. If that doesn't happen or you're impatient, you can update your device manually using firmware from various online portals, but this is risky and may affect your warranty.
