According to available information, Samsung is finally preparing to release a device with its own operating system Tizen OS, but it will not be just one device, but four different smartphones. According to the Wall Street Journal, the release itself should take place within a few weeks, which would more or less confirm earlier speculations that the first smartphones with Tizen OS should appear at the beginning of the summer. Whether all the phones will be launched at once is not certain, in any case, they should be available only in the Russian Federation and India for now, while over time they should also expand to other countries of the world. The performance itself is said to take place at the Unpacked event in Moscow, the exact date of which has not yet been set, but it should appear in the following days.

Tizen OS has already appeared on the recently released Samsung Gear 2 smart watch, as well as its modified version Gear 2 Neo, but the version used on the watch is not completely finished and should differ significantly from the version from future smartphones. By releasing only in Russia and India at the same time, Samsung confirms the not long ago speculation that it wants to focus on the markets of countries in which users prefer to buy devices from local/smaller manufacturers at a much lower price and because of them, larger sellers are drastically losing a significant share of market. According to leaks from the well-known @evleaks, we can look forward to smartphones with numbers SM-Z500, SM-Z700, SM-Z900 and SM-910, two of which should be from the low-end category and the other two from the mid-range category.
