Samsung introduced three new accessories for a smartphone, a tablet and finally for a computer. The first product is an external storage with a huge capacity, the second product is an external smartphone battery, and finally the third product is a WiFi-enabled wireless Media Hub. Well, if you thought it was three accessories, you are wrong. All this is hidden in a single product, which is the new Samsung Wireless. The product will start to be sold at a price of 179 dollars, which means that the product will cost us 1€ if the exchange rate of $1=€179 is observed. The price in the Czech Republic should range from CZK 3 to CZK 600.
In practice, it is an external disk with USB 3.0 support, on which users can save any files at any time and do not have to worry about their loss. The drive has a remarkable capacity of 1.5 TB, thanks to which users can transfer up to 750 movies, 375 songs in MP000 format and up to 3 photos. Thus, users do not have to worry at all about having a problem with a lack of free space. The storage can be used with a wide range of devices. Except for computers with the system Windows and OS X also supports operating systems Android 2.3 and all newer. As I mentioned above, the device also works as an external battery for the phone. There is a battery inside the drive that also powers the drive itself, and Samsung promises that the drive can last up to 7 hours of use on a single charge.
Since the device has its own battery and WiFi antenna, users can stream files to up to 5 devices at the same time via WiFi and the Samsung Wireless application, which will be available in the Google Play menu as an add-on necessary for viewing files on smartphones and tablets with system Android. The application will be available free of charge already at the time the disc goes on sale. The disk manufacturer is Seagate, which currently owns the Samsung HDD division and manufactures disks under the name Samsung, but also Seagate. The Samsung Wireless external drive should be available all over the world in the foreseeable future, and thus it will also appear here in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
