Here is the proof that the fingerprint scanner used on the Samsung smartphone Galaxy The S5 doesn't have to be just for unlocking your phone and paying with PayPal. According to the portal Android Planet, the Dutch police ordered 35 units of this smartphone, with which they will replace the BlackBerry phones used so far and will use them to identify people by scanning fingerprints. This should be made possible thanks to a special application that is provided directly by Samsung and thanks to which, together with fingerprints, badges can also be recognized and the amount of fines can be calculated.

The Dutch police, like Samsung, is not going to comment on the rumor yet, anyway, if the claim is true, the police officers will not get the new smartphones until 2015 at the earliest. However, their use would improve both the police and Samsung with huge advertising. However, it is necessary to take into account that many users have reported problems with the use of the scanner in the last month, because in some cases it was necessary to put your finger up to 5 times to unlock the phone.
