tizen-logoHow to make it easier for people to switch to Tizen? You will allow them to use applications from Androidat! The company wants to accelerate the growth of the popularity of its own OS as much as possible, while this system should debut on four smartphones of different classes. However, Tizen OS is new and therefore it is quite understandable that only a few applications will be available in Samsung Apps for it at first, and that is definitely not a plus in the world of smartphones.

So it's quite logical that Samsung will allow users to run applications from the platform they switched to. Well, it seems that only applications from the Samsung Apps store will get here through the official way, since Google Play will not be available here. This step may remind someone of the Nokia X, but the situation is completely different in the case of Tizen. The Nokia X runs on a heavily modified kernel Androidu, while Tizen is a standalone operating system that has s Androidom common only Linux as a base. Nevertheless, Tizen OS will emulate applications using Java, although Samsung could potentially enrich Tizen itself with support for the APK format. On the other hand, this would mean for developers that the system will support APK for a long time, and thus developers would not try to create applications for Tizen. That is why the support will work on the basis of the emulator, which can at the same time make the transition to Tizen easier for developers, but also thanks to this, they will find out which applications are the most popular. The near future will tell us what will eventually develop from this, since we are only a few weeks away from the release of the first Tizens. At the same time, supporting applications to expand the system's popularity is strategically important. Samsung sold more than 65% of all devices with Androidom, with which he built an absolutely dominant position and if he left this platform, for Google Android it could have fatal consequences in the future. Tizen would become the most used mobile platform in the world, followed by Tizen iOS and only in the third place would we find Android.
