Engadget has revealed that Samsung is already working on its own version of the Oculus Rift, a 3D virtual reality headset. This headset is said to be revealed this year and should be temporarily supported by a Samsung smartphone Galaxy S5 and Samsung phablet Galaxy Note 3, but the final version will probably need the next generation of these flagships for full functionality.

However, the most interesting thing is the fact that smart glasses from Samsung with the subtitle Gear Blink have been talked about very often recently, and since the device that has just been revealed remains unnamed, it is quite possible that in the end Samsung Gear Blink will not only be smart glasses, but a South Korean the company will turn them into an entire headset displaying virtual reality in the third dimension. According to the rumor, the device will be equipped with an OLED display, but there is no more information about the specifications yet. The price of this headset should be lower compared to the Oculus Rift, which is now available for less than 8000 CZK (299 Euros).
