Spotify announced over the weekend that it has passed two impressive milestones.
Spotify has reached 10 million paying users and 40 million active users. And that in 56 different countries around the world. They pay €6 per month and since there are 10 million of them, the service earns €60 million per month, which is €720 million per year and you have to admit that this is really a lot of money.
In the announcement, they also thank users for their trust; they are grateful to the thousands of musicians and millions of users who have helped them reach this point.
